Walk-in Procedures

To sign up for services at NEIGHBORING, please call 440-639-3603 for complete and up-to-date intake information. No appointment is needed, and you are welcome to come at any time during the following hours:

Mondays: 9:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Wednesdays: 9:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
Thursdays:  9:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.

All will be seen by the Intake Specialist "first come – first served." If there are special circumstances that require it, a specific appointment can be made in advance. Please be sure to bring the following items, and be prepared to provide necessary information:

  1. Form of Identification – Driver's License or State ID (or mail that has been sent to current address - e.g. utility bill)
  2. Financial Information – Most Recent Tax Return, Social Security Award Letter, Pay Stubs for one month, etc. (Spouse and/or total household income is needed)
  3. Proof of Insurance – Medical Card, if applicable (not necessary to receive services)
  4. Letter of Residency – if living in group home, shelter, etc.

Directions to 5966 Heisley Road
*From Route 2, take Heisley Road (OH-44 N) exit and continue South on Heisley Road. Continue 0.8 miles down, and turn Right at driveway just past entrance to main NEIGHBORING location (5930 Heisley Road). This is a private drive, and you will notice a large sign for US Endoscopy. Continue down this drive about 500 feet. At the end of this drive, turn Left into the parking lot for 5966 Heisley Road (see map above).
*Services to be housed at the new office space are Case Management and Supported Employment.

If coming via Laketran, please make sure your reservations are for the correct address and that you get off the bus at the correct destination.
